Information on bed construction

Wow this is lovely! Kudos to your ingenuity and craftsmanship.

Is the headboard attached directly to the wall?
What type of frame does the bed rest on (did you build that as well)?

Also -- is that an oyster shell chandelier?

Rough Linen
I used a nail gun to attach the wood to the wall - it all stops about two inches above mattress level. The bed is a standard box spring but the rollers are in cups so I don't end up on the other side of the room.
It was meant to be an oyster chandelier, but halfway in I discovered just how heavy oyster shells can be!
