It is a custom made mailbox made specifically to fit the size of the pillar. A large box is embedded in the pillar with a locking access door on the backside. We have not been able to find a standard prefab mailbox as every pillar dimension seems to vary. As a result we have had sheet metal fabricators make these. They are usually constructed of copper or stainless steel, two metals that will not rust or degrade when exposed to weather.
