I would like to know if this is a flat roof design?

I am planning on building a flat roof modern home, but of course incorporating as much new technology as possible. Can you tell me if this is a flat roof? If so do you know what technology was used? For example I have heard there is PVC and EPDM that seems to provide superior performance and the longest life. What has been your experience?

It's an EPDM roof. We like it better because it's more flexible around obstructions. We've used the PVC just didn't think the fit and finish looked as good and haven't had any warranty problem with the rubber roofs. Good luck!
