Turning a reach in closet into closet space and desk

My 13 year old son has a reach in closet that is 97 1/2 wide. I would like to make half of it a closet and the other a desk/study desk. I can not afford to have someone do this for me, but I would like help with the design and layout. Any suggestions on webpages that can help me?

i would look at closetmaid and elfa.

elfa is more expensive, but there's more options. they're sold at The Container Store, and closetmaid is sold at Lowe's and HomeDepot. also, all 3 stores offer free design help/services (at least in my area they do), so go into the store with your measures, let them know you want to do it yourself, and what you want to do with the space. they'll help you get things going.

if you/they get stuck for desktop materials, remember that you can use furniture grade plywood with iron-on edge banding to get a nice finished look that you can stain or paint.
