What color to paint our house?

We bought a vaca home in southwest Florida. The inside is painted with sunny yellows, cool blues, some light oranges and greens....very colorful. The outside is so bland....it's a light cream color with a Wedgwood blue trim. I really don't like it. I want to do something pretty and attractive without it looking garish. I definitely want color, not the stereotypical florida beige. Any suggestions?

Thanks Dannette. Any ideas around something more colorful? On another portal someone suggested a sage green with cream trim. Someone else recommended pink. Hahaha I'm not going to do pink for sure. Hubby wouldn't like that.

And, you wouldn't happen to have family in Ft Wayne would you? You have an unusual name and it reminds me of a Redmond family I know there..... :)

I think green would blend too much with the trees and grass ( just me). I wish I did have family in Florida. Good luck and send me a pic when your done.

BM Steep Cliff Gray, for the trim BM Moonshine,.

Here are some basic color themes to look into:
Provence: palest pink or peach with green or blue shutters.
Caribbean: Tiffany blue or buff pink or pale yellow, with white trim.
Mission: butterscotch with brown trims and brick-red accents (pots, linens, umbrella)
Craftsman: palest mocha with brown trim and blue or green accents.

Terra cotta, dark shutters. You can adjust the roof color when it needs replacement. Happy Houzzing.

Ack! So many choices. I think I will photoshop it and see what it looks like with some of these.
