Should I use the same curtains in both rooms as you can see both of them from the main hallway. We had matching ones at one time until the dog saw the UPS man. The ones in the dining room are ivory and the trim is now white so its driving me crazy. the yellow is actually a goldenrod color. Looks a little bright in these pictures.

The curtains do not have to match, however it would be best if they coordinated in style and color.

I agree with Pamela...they do not have to match but they should compliment each other. :)

You could frost the windows, allows light but has privacy especially during the night

Home improvement stores have a static cling privacy film you can add to windows that allows light in, but you cannot see through it. I put some on my bathroom window, it was super easy and it looks nice too. I think curtains on your side panels would look too busy.
