Can you help me decide if this space is too tight for a seating area in our kitchen? It is new construction.
I want to put two cozy chairs and a small table in front of the window on the left side of the island. There is 5' 7" between the windows and the island.
There will be 4 barstools at the island. The dining room is south of the island and seats 6. The room to the right of the island is the pantry.
If it is too tight of a space for a seating area, I was thinking of just doing base cabinets in front of the window.
