We are in the process of a remodel and I mistakenly signed off on installing 6" LED recessed lighting(very bright). I went around on this and really did not find many other options. Supposedly they are dimable. They are in my hall and kids bedroom and new bathroom. Any thoughts -do I just take them out ? can I easily swap out for 4". My kids are disappointed they wanted fixtures in the first place

If you start to switch them out your ceiling will need to be redone. I would install dimmers first and see what you think. Can they reduce the wattage of the bulbs.
