Are you keeping the clock? If so then you have 2 big walls to fill...it could go either over the sofa or in the dining room....the clock is kind of small for that space.

A round mirror at least twice as big would look nice where the clock is

You need a small wall for the clock and it will fit so much better.

Your furniture seems to be lined up all around the room on the wall. I would like to see your sitting pieces together and then the table in its own place in the room. I can see the table down by the window, facing the long way in front of the window. Do not tie the curtains together like that.....as that is dated and does distract from the view out the window. BUT right there would be good for the table and chairs.

Do not try to make the rug work for the whole room.....see how one part of your couch is not on the rug? Slide the rug in to just the seating area and try to get the front feet of all pieces ON the rug. That will anchor the area.

Bring the two chairs and the table that are in front of the window down to the seating area, but place them floating in the room near the edge of the console the tv is on. That will help them join the group and also give you some division in the space. I can't get a good feel for space in the room right now, but the tv might need to slide closer to the edge of that wall, too, to make it easier to see, but it looks like there is room to do that.

NOW your walls are ready for art. BIg pieces over the two couches/love seats, but hang them low enough on the back. Play up the color of the curtains and the flowers on the coffee table as I see that color in the couches, too. FUN color!!!

Modern.....If you are open to an original WOW piece for over the sofa...something like this....instead of the aqua, I would do a purple with dark gray overlay so the purple would be subtle...Lighter silver for the land at the bottom....

Or something like this with subtle purple as described above:

Simple Modern:

Just getting you thinking....

I love how you have the sofas now and they really fit those walls! OK.....think you have a good plan for a new rug. What about moving the chairs and table???

Put the table by the window and bring the chairs down to the sofa area. Let them be across the room, across from the one sofa.

I have no pics....sorry.....but I like your idea of having storage with the tv. It would need to be a little longer then, but that is ok as there is room right there on that wall. That would also make it a little taller and that is still ok, too. See if you can find one that has baskets under it so you can store things, but they will not be seen.
