Can you put 4 chairs around a 36" round dining table?

If you have an area of approximately 4 feet around the edges of the dining table, you should be fine. A lot depends on your chairs too, but you have to make sure the space around the dining table is appropriate first.

Maaza66--the answer is yes, as Chemayne says, depending on the style. In terms of function and comfort, with a standard dining table chair, you should allow 42" for sitting/service/circulation. If you have any larger, padded chairs, you may want to test that theory in advance of commiting to the 36" dia. table, and consider if a square or rectangular table better suits your needs for your particular space.
