Designing new kitchen, need help with cabinet color.

All the new kitchens are being designed with white cabinets, which I love. But we are going to have a ton of afternoon and evening sun coming into a lot of windows in the kitchen that I think it might be to bright. Are the dark cabinets still good to go?

Yes, but dark cabinets may get fading from the sun. How about a medium tone? Or if you love white cabinets, use them and enjoy all the light. Paint your walls an interesting color to contrast with them.

Consider using a dark flooring while still have the white cabinets.

I agree, stay with white cabinetry. Painted maple is best.
