Just wondering if any of you Houzzonians have a clue what style our home is. The Utah State Historical Office defines it as a Colonial Revival but I question whether that's a perfect fit. My wife and I purchased this custom home built in 1927 a few months back and we are doing a sizable remodel. Surprisingly it has never been remodeled and we'll be replacing the old knob and tube wiring, plumbing, doing a kitchen remodel and a master bedroom and bathroom remodel. We'll be posting pictures as we progress through the work but I was hoping someone could share examples of similar homes out there. The gable roof has a Temple form influence and the Porte-cochère adds a pretty unique element.
