Michelle Fries, BeDe Design, LLC Sorry for the delay eringlenn. The homeowners had this blanket and I'm not positive, but I believe it was found through an antique dealer. motherbear is correct, Pendleton is a good guess and that's where I would send you. Please take a look at my blog because I have an entry from last week (Nov 14) showing some other great blanket ideas. Good luck! http://bede-design.blogspot.com/
rawlings Pendleton doesn't have that blanket (I checked), and neither does a Google image search. It must be an antique. So, Pendleton! Get on it! *Somebody* get on it--it's a winner!
Michelle Fries, BeDe Design, LLC @rawlings- yes it is an old blanket. The homeowners are avid antique collectors and definitely have an eye for cool. I'm always hunting around for vintage blankets. If I see anything while I'm out and about, I'll let you know!
rawlings Granted, they do make some nice blankets, but none like this one. It's the perfect intervals between the red stripes, the ivory white...but don't get me started.
Michelle Fries, BeDe Design, LLC @rawlings- you are cracking me up. I almost feel like calling the homeowners and asking if I can steal it for you. I did a blog post a while back on blankets by Pendleton and Swiss Army...when I moved my blog onto wordpress, it didn't transfer. I will work on a new one and post it this week. Check for it at www.bededesign.com/blog
Michelle Fries, BeDe Design, LLC Drumroll... http://www.faribaultmill.com/. This is the company that made it. Although the blanket in this photo is several decades old and you won't find it on their site, check it out because there are others you may like. Happy searching!
