Another windows questions...
August 27, 2013 in Photo Questions
I read in other Q&As on this house that these are Marvin casement windows, 32" x 56" - my question is, how wide is the, um, "bit" between one window and next? Not sure what it's called, sorry! Not the part from Marvin, but the vertical piece that runs between the casings, if that makes sense!

That is a mull and it measures five inches wide. It covers two structural 2x members. You can get this smaller with a single stud mull (3 1/2" typ.) or a ganged unit makes them even smaller (2" typ.).

Hi, I am reviewing options on Marvin Ultimate Casement windows and was wondering if you happen to remember which option you went with for the interior frames of the windows above, between solid wood or fiberglass coated with veneer. Thanks!!
