You didn't say if this is a home office and it also depends on your business and whether you meet clients in your office. For example; a photographer's office/business would be suitable.

I think I would do a photo wall. I would put it over your desk and move the painting to another wall. However, don't put the pictures upside down ;) and put them all in same colored frames.

DC, totally appropriate in a home office! And you don't need to put them all in the same colored frames.

OK- I would take down everything on the walls (just for now) it's easier;) You know the photo wall I showed above, I would make it on both walls (not as wide as the one above) 2 -3 rows of pic's starting from the ends of both desks and meeting right up to the corner. I can see it;)

OK OK OK........that piece that belongs to your mom can go in here!!! You can put pics in it, too, on the glass shelves, and some books, as all home offices need books. It can go on the tall wall and the comfy chair over by the desk.

First, I'd like it noted that abbyjean is the Queen of Furniture Rearrangement. Further note, she does none of the heavy lifting herself.

Darzy's idea of floating the desk in an L is interesting. Unfortunately, it's not the kind of move I can make. So, I've arranged the family photos, moved the aquarium, and replaced the drapes with something a bit more fitting. (I replaced the window along with it because it was easier than taking the old drapes down.) I also added a floor lamp because the room is quite dark.

(And no, you don't need anything above the aquarium. Let the eye rest a bit.)

Looks very easy and no sanding prepping required. I also read on one of these threads that you don't have to use their "expensive" wax, that Johnsons works well. Keep us posted on your adventures into chalk painting.
