Bedroom and ensuite

Should the colours in my bedroom be the same as my ensuite I'm thinking of decorating my bedroom in red and dark grey and the ensuite in black and grey with the walls in light grey. But my husband wants to decorate the bedroom in brown and red. Any ideas???

Well, first of all, you and hubby have to decide on a color combo for the bedroom, but to answer your question, no they don't have to be the same, but should compliment each other.
