Identifying the "right" yellow for a den
September 5, 2013 in Design Dilemma
Our den has a chocolate brown corduroy couch and walnut wood floor. We are thinking a yellow could look nice but not sure how to identify the "right yellow" . Looking for suggestions. Thanks

How about
C2s: Frittata or BM 2160-50 Oklahoma Wheat?
Frittata is a nice warm yellow, not to garish, but not too watery either. Oklahoma Wheat is a peaceful yellow. Looks beige on color chip, but warm yellow on the wall. Changes with the light. Our furniture in the rooms we used them in, is dark reds, brown leather, navy curtains and white curtains

Have dark woodwork throughout our home, and we used a yellow very much like Fresh Air 211 out of the Benjamin Moore gallery. Warm, but not toooooo yellow.
