Can anyone suggest some great hedge shrubs 8-10 ft tall with a narrow spread of 6-8? Both evergreen and deciduous...I have some china girl holly that might be good in a mix. I need a pretty screen between properties. Zone 7.

Try a climbing hydrangea. It only needs a little pruning once a year and gives you a Lacey white display of flowers in the summer

Viburnum, fast growing, too. White flowers in spring.

I'll bet you have a lazy neighbor who does not take care of their yard. I certainly do. I live in zone 9. I want a shrub, vines require a support system. I would like something that grows fast and is easy maintenance.
