Hi, thanks for your question. I was not aware that my client would be using chalk on her new painted doors. Only at the end of the project did I see this... I was quite surprised as I had used a normal washable matte (flat) finish for the paint! My client reassured me that she had been writing with chalk on her paint for years and that her paint was not affected. She simply uses a humid cloth to erase the chalk. Her doors are in MDF. However, there is chalk board paint available at painting stores. It is more expensive than normal paint. Hope this helps!
