Do all the cabinets in the house have to be the same color?
September 14, 2013 in Other
we have different floor tile in the kitchen and master bed/bathroom downstairs, and a third floor tile in the guest suites upstairs. The kitchen cabinets are picked out and are darker to contrast the white and beige porcelain floor tiles. The master bedroom and upstairs suites have darker tile on the floors, so a dark cabinet might not work as well there. Is it acceptable to have different cabinets if you can not see the cabinets from the same vantage point? Thanks for your help!

Ideally the cabinets would have the same style for design continuity, but not necessary.

Same cabinet style, but different colors is acceptable due to the variation in tile color.
