Diy chair fix. Help!
September 15, 2013 in Design Dilemma
Hi, I know you all have seen this chair at one point or another. I like the lines of it and I also need it for seating at Thanksgiving. Does anyone have a good idea and how I can repair it and make it usable again? Thanks so much

Hi bonnmom, if you don't want to keep it as a weave seat, you could make a seat cushion either stationary or removable.

Anne Here is a place to start in looking for instructions to replace the seat. I would suggest replacing the caning to maintain original look of the chair, but is is possible you could replace the seat with wood, and add a cushion to it.
