Dummy glass door knobs
September 18, 2013 in Design Dilemma
I have been trying to find dummy glass door knobs that just screw into one side of the door and cannot find them "reasonably" priced. I need at least 4 of them. I have found them running $50-$200 (each) which is over my budget. Would appreciate any help.

Ok....these will require some "Jerry rigging", but they are cheap. Houseofantiquehardware.com.

I have been looking for the same things! I have been wondering if there is some way to jerry-rig some old vintage knobs. I have several of these (and you can find them on Ebay really reasonably) but I haven't figured out how to do it.

These would be very easy to convert to two dummy knobs. I think they have a variety of styles at the store. http://shop.hobbylobby.com/products/clear-glass-flower-door-set-120469/
