Using Low Voltage Wiring for a Custom Shower Light Feature - The Basic

There are three basic light features we design for our clients here in Vancouver. The most popular versions are what we call "Down Lit" or "Down Lighting" and as the name suggests means the light source is above and the light shines down.

We can also build side lights and back lights. These require a little more effort and all of the light features that I have built over the years are showcased on my Photo Bucket Account.

Lets look at the most current light feature and see some of the key steps needed to cover the basics of shower lighting. Obviously with lights and water we have some huge safety concerns. This is why I love using low voltage lighting and then separating the light source from the shower. This part is easy since we specialize here in Vancouver in waterproofing and bathroom construction.
