Tile unavailable - Choices?
September 22, 2013 in Design Dilemma
We have a closet in our foyer that we want to rotate and enlarge the foyer in the meantime. We retiled the foyer about 8 years of ago and have 1 box of tile left but it isn't enough. Someone suggested we take our tile from the closet area and use that which I am willing to do but there is no guarantee that we'll be able to do that without breaking the tile. Any ideas as to what our choices are if any?

you could add a different colour to them in the same size and finish ,or you could create a border ,here is an example of the idea .

We did think of that but since we just retiled not that long ago we didn't want to change it all. If we use different tile won't that just look weird in that one 2 foot area we want to add?
