tony_eastie44 Yes 3" x 9" is what I was advised to use. This is a beautiful floor and we loved it, but were concerned with the likelihood of even slightly unlevel floors, and more house settling/shifting (as our 100+ year old house is apt to do with new renovations) we decided on a 2" hexagonal tile.
