Bathroom tile – too much?

Just a general question… How do you know when you're pulling in too much decorative/accent tile in your bathrooms? We have tile on our floors and painted walls. Backsplash is granite. Decorative tile is in shower, but I was thinking I'd like to pull the same decorative tile to other areas of the bathroom for a more cohesive look. Spouse is worried it may start to look busy and unorganized.

Need a photo to help. Tile can look decorative even if it's the same tile, but laid differently and using different sizes.
