Can it "work" to mix hardwood floors (in the formal living and dining room and the casual family room) with ceramic tile in the adjacent areas (entrance way, kitchen/pantry/breakfast nook, office and hallway leading to the garage)?
Thank you for reporting this. Undo

people do it all the time. try to minimize the number of transitions and stick to just ONE tile and ONE hardwood.
