Modernising 80's doors

Any suggestions on how we can modernise these doors - we have 10 of them so to replace could be fairly costly - any suggestions on how we can reinvent them......

Would you consider painting them and giving them a change in hardware? You could paint them white and have oil rubbed bronze lever handles or you could paint them dark grey or black and have brushed nickle levers.

We are not sure about painting as the doors are in good shape, but it is an option. It really depends on your interior. Hardware change might be the key here. We would definitely suggest moving to levers vs. knobs. Best of luck with your project, and keep us posted with some "after" photos. Thank you.

Painting them black and replacing door knobs with stainless steel levers would look good too.
