Trying to coordinate granite color types

jmseiSeptember 28, 2013
We have a kitchen island that is Verde Lavaros green/black granite and would like to match it with another granite. We looked at ubatuba to contrast with other non connecting counters. Ubatuba looks more black and gold fleck to me. Cabinets will be white shaker. Flooring is darker...maple. Any suggestions to match/contrast verde lavaros?

I would recommend contrast over trying to coordinate or match with a different stone. I like black slate with Verde Lavoris.
