Houzz is the new way to design your home.

I've been out of the window blind business for 13 years, so I have questions and would love recommendations. From past experience in my first house, I purchased all white mini blinds for my second house and the current house (third house). This was because when the blinds are closed, from the outside I wanted a uniform look. I learned in the first house that different color blinds closed from the outside just didn't cut it for me. And some sort of privacy covering is essential. I grew up with peeping toms, and now live by myself. I don't like the idea of someone looking into my house at night. But I do want to be able to look out during the day, like if someone comes to my house. So, having said that, can people give me recommendations on what is available these days? As I said before, the most important thing for me is unity from the outside. I love the bamboo look, but you can still see through those. I will have curtains, so that does help with the privacy. I also don't want to spend thousands of dollars. Thanks!
