Hi, I am redoing my whole kitchen, inside and out. I am wondering what are nifty things put in the kitchen, that I might not have thought. Also, what kind of layout works good for you. Thanks!

Kitchen lighting is such an intriguing and innovative place. This article touches on just a few things people do to illuminate their kitchen: http://www.lightsonline.com/kitchen-lighting-trends/

However, another interesting thing I've seen is people using chandeliers, whether small or big, or foyer lighting over kitchen islands instead of pendants. Pendants are still very popular for kitchen use. Really, the sky is the limit and it's up to you, but don't forget to think about lighting during your kitchen re-do!
