I need to fill up this breakfast nook!

I just finished stenciling a Moroccan pattern on my kitchen floor and now need to furnish it. I'm leaning towards something plain and modern to offset the new old world charm of the space, like a round Herman Miller pedestal table. Any thoughts?

Wow great floor! What about a Knoll Saarinen pedestal table with Knoll Tulip Chairs?

Thanks! I took a little over 100 hours to do but turned out great. Yes, a Saarinen would be fabulous they're but out of my price range. Even the fakes are expensive. The Lucite is an option, but I think I need to lessen the impact with chairs and table that cover some of the floor up. Here's other side of the kitchen....

Go to www.saloom.com and look at their kitchen tables and chairs. What is great about this company is you can pick your table base, table top shape and edging and finish color. They finish their tables and chairs in a catalized finish that is superior in a kitchen setting. The chairs are great too....nice seat and comfortable. You can choose a chair with upholstery or not, their fabric selections are nice. I have sold their products in my design practice and my clients have loved them. The price point is medium to medium-high depending on the choices you make, however, this is a set you will have for 20 years. The floor looks great! Good luck!

My kitchen is about 200 sq. ft. total made up of cooking area, kitchen lounge and hallway. The eating area is approximately 9 x 10. Thanks for the compliment!

Thanks! Well, I ended up with a pedestal table from Restoration Hardware, a settee from Pier One and two chairs from World Market. I made pillows for each chair out of white denim and felt. My husband and I happen to share the same initials. I may eventually slip cover the settee in that same white denim and throw on some chocolate nubuck pillows. The space successfully transformed into a kitchen lounge from a breakfast nook. It's where company gravitates to when they come over. Here's some photos.....
