I hate my double vanity!
October 3, 2013 in Design Dilemma
I made a huge mistake when I renovated my master bath and I ordered a double vanity in a natural pine, not realizing how much variability there is in the wood. It was much too country for my very traditional older home, so I had my painter paint in black. It's not holding up well and I would like to distress it, but I can't remove it. Large piece of granite and plumbing in place. How do I distress it? I can take the drawers and cabinet doors off. But I also need to protect the pieces that I remove the paint from- polyurethane? Should I hit the vanity with chain? I don't want to crack the granite. Help!,
