For this built-in seating bench - the back cushions were made by the company that made the window treatments. Most window treatment companies that also do pillows could do these cushions. They are not very complicated. Regarding the bench itself, I believe we had a hinged top that could be lifted for storage. The cushion is loose, not attached permanently to the bench. We have also built seating benches that have had open spaces for baskets on the front or the side. If you want to have real drawers, you can do this but the cost goes up.
