Wall sconce with low ceilings
October 10, 2013 in Design Dilemma
I need to pick a wall sconce to go next to my toilet but there's a low ceiling due to a heating duct overhead which is covered with drywall. What's the minimum safe distance from the top of the sconce to the ceiling.

Also I'd like a low profile sconce so I don't bang my head on it as us the toilet.

Something like this could work without the bulb being too close to the ceiling.
