Painted hardwoods yellowed with polyurethane!!!

I just spent a week painting an entry a light tan, (really a dark white), and darker tan checkerboard over previously painted hardwoods. I then stenciled a pattern in the center of the darker squares. I applied three coats fof waterbased poly and...yuck. Looks like lemon lime. I really don't want to start all over again. Can I tint some poly violet to cut the yellow? Any other bright ideas?
