Replacing part kitchen- want to freshen design
Erin WinczoOctober 12, 2013
Our kitchen had storm water damage and our island and flooring need to be replaced. I would love to incorporate white cabinets and countertop (make the island different than rest of kitchen) and I'd love darker flooring. We currently have cherry cabinets, black granite and natural bamboo flooring. How can this work? What would be the best ideas? The picture shows our cabinets, countertop, backsplash (willing to redo if needed), and bamboo flooring.

Ebony / Wenge flooring would look cool with current design choices. White cabinets may be too stark unless using same granite tops.

So if we want a different kitchen island, what colors should we be considering?
