How do you keep rain water out of the fire pit?

You should probably just cover up the fire pit when your not using it. That will help a lot. Otherwise don't ask me!

This fire pit has a drain in the bottom which directs the rainwater into a crushed stone dry-well. You could have a cover made but this option requires less maintenance and keeps the fire pit presentable at all times.
