Flooring match existing hardwood?
October 14, 2013 in Design Dilemma
Hi I need your opinion. Im Remolding my kitchen plus adding a family room on as well. So it will be one open space. Do I match existing hardwood flooring which is red oak or can I go with another type of hardwood/stain?? The existing area will be closed off from open kitchen/family room but you will pass through sitting room to get to the new area.

If you want to keep the sense of continuity and space I would stay with the same. However, a photo might help qualify that suggestion.
