Boring Exterior
October 16, 2013 in Design Dilemma
The exterior of our house is very boring. We have had a bad woodpecker problem on all the white areas (composite wood), woodpeckers in our area peck on wood and stucco.
We would like to cover the bottom of the whole front in stacked stone, even the garage. This will solve our woodpecker problem.
I am just worried it will be too much rock? and don't know what color of rock? It is very dark there as huge tree infront and huge overhang. Suggestons????

What about brick? Do woodpeckers get through cement board? Are there ways to catch and relocate?

Hi.....I think you have a good idea, and the stone in the picture is a bit dark. Are you planning
on changing the color of the house as well?? Stone comes in all colors, be sure to look at
everything before making a decision. I would suggest you do the posts as well.
