Apron sink

Wondering if I should do a porcelain apron sink... I've been reading pros and cons and am wondering how easily porcelain chips and stains. Anyone have issues with this? Are these easy fixes if so? The look would be gorgeous in our craftsman house.

Hi chickle - We haven't had issues with porcelain apron sinks chipping. Would recommend fireclay substrate, rather than cast iron for a little better service in that respect. No staining issues, either, to speak of. Must clean the porcelain with non-abrasives, to prevent etching, pitting its surface.

BTW - we do a lot of craftsman styled projects. ...interested to hear more about your house.
Best Wishes! Mark
