Open floor apartment. How to fit in the home office?

Surrounded by bookshelves, my open floor apartment has a discernible living area and dining area. Even my toddler's table blendas in, but my desk looks out of place. How do I make it fit in? Feeling crowded here. PS- husband will not give up his plants.

Hard to see the pictures…have you tried putting your desk directly behind the sofa?



If that works, turn your dining table so that it runs horizontally to the desk wall.
Bring the liitle table into the dining area….maybe in front of the slider?
