I can't decide on the teal or black versions of this amazing wallpaper by ashadewilder.com - room is fairly light with oak as the main wood?

Is this for a bathroom? Photos of the room would be very helpful.

Seen a room with the teal, it looked great.

I love the black wallpaper but how you have it now looks just beautiful, I don't think I would change a thing.

The house is also littered with antique Chinese and Japanese furniture - been looking for a while and loved this design

Your first impulse on color is usually the best choice.

It depends on when you use the space and what you use it for. If you want a cosy area that is used primarily at night, I'd go with the black. If you want to keep it light and airy, I'd go with the cream over the teal. Are you planning on wallpapering all of the walls?

For that space, I would go with the black.

Love the wallpaper design and honestly, seeing the wall you want to paper - any of these colorways would work! I'm leaning towards the teal with red fish.

I agree with Chandani. I think the cream would look very elegant. Black too dark, and the teal too bright.

Yes, black! Is that a rad on the left. How about a cover for it to provide a shelf? You could add a little Asian flair to it.

i'd go with the cream one.. it won't look too dark with it.

Black, definitely. I believe it would make a nicer statement. The red/orange in the teal paper could make it difficult to decorate with. Black is a neutral that almost any color goes with. The chair is great.

@regional, that link is great to their website. The mirror they show would look fab over your radiator if you decided to cover it as deco suggested. Btw, agree also on black.
