We created the top and bottom lines with 1" trim from the hardware store painted black. The dashes were made with popsicle sticks painted black and the lettering was done by hand with a thick sharpie marker. We used animal alphabet flash cards mounted to painted wood plaques that we found at the local craft/hobby store. Hope this helps, happy decorating! Yours True-ly!

We used double stick mounting tape.
