Kitchen cabinet design
November 7, 2013 in Design Dilemma
Hi, I am redesigning my kitchen and am trying to utilize as much space as possible for my cabinets. How important is it to make all the cabinets on top symmetrical? For example, I could do all 24" or 12 inch cabinets on top, which would look really nice, but I think a larger cabinet would be more useful for plates etc on one side of my sink. In addition, I could extend cabinets more on each side if I used odd numbers, say 33", 18", window, 18" 24" corner, 12" on the adjoining wall, then refrigerator and then oven cabinet. Hope this makes sense and someone can give me some good advice about the rules of cabinet design!! Thank you! RS

Would be helpful if you attach some plan and elevation drawings of what you are thinking of.
