Restaining hardwood floors
aborromeo1228November 7, 2013
We are restaining our floors and stairs to update the look of our place. We wanted to go with a darker stain, maybe walnut/Jacobean, or a Jacobean/ebony mix? But am worried what will work with our kitchen cabinets in the picture attached. Any thoughts?

A stain noticeably darker than your kitchen cabinets is a great idea! It will give the same type of pleasant contrast that you have with your cabinets vs. the countertops. Plus, with the white accents already in place, you reinforce that contrast. Good luck, and please post "after" photos!
