Keeping your line and matching seams...especially on walls that are not perfectly plumb.

I have installed three different patterns of tiles from inhabit (wall flats) I love these tiles, just like installing regular tile. Pro this brand is a large size. The only con I have ran into was around electrical outlets can require some creative finishing due to open raised space of 3d design. A little drywall mud to fill in voids works perfectly, larger gaps may require some type of backer or wood to fill prior to mud.

Thank you. Would you suggest painting them first. If not I am afraid of some shadowing.

I have the ones like the red above. But they are white and they say they are paintable.

You can paint base coat first; however you may need another coat after install due to finish nails and if you caulk the seams for a nice clean finish or just touch up. If you have access to a paint sprayer much faster

I have installed per manufacturer which requires adhesive tile mastic. Also installed a small accent area, not full wall, with double sided tape for a more temporary application

Basically lay out like regular tiles - find the center point of your project, using a level make a grid on the wall, this way you can easily place your tiles level. Depending on the size and material of your tile a piece of double sided tape on each corner, for larger tiles may require 3 pieces of tape per edge. Your tile brand will come with installation instruction pertaining to the particular product. You can paint prior to install, especially if you are spray painting. Hope this helps-check the tile manufacturers website for detailed instructions
