Everything but the floor ___

I need to install new floor in my 3-season (soon to be 4) porch. The room is isolated from the rest of the house, so it would be nice to try out a different material besides the classic hardwood throughout. Brick runs along the room beneath the windows, and above that hardwood cherry planks on the walls and ceilings.

I am considering stone or tile, perhaps slate-colored or natural stone.

Suggestions are appreciated!!

Hi Sdnick. Have you considered a softer, warmer floor, especially if you're going to use the space all year round? I'm thinking cork? Have a look at https://icorkfloor.com/cork-floating-floors.html -- I have no connection with the company, I have just come across it and noted the big variety of colours and pattern.

Someone had suggested cork to me before, I just don't know much about it. Thanks for the link!

Since this area appears like it will get a lot of use you will want something to easily clean and is durable. There are many high quality porcelain products that would meet that need and replicate many classic looks such as wood flooring. We also sell lots of travertine and limestone that will meet this need.
