Bath vanity placement
November 20, 2013 in Design Dilemma
I'm redesigning our master bath, so everything is on paper (no pic). I would like to put a 54" vanity on the "left wall" and another 54" vanity on the "right wall"; neither would fill the wall space. Do the vanities need line up with each other or can they be staggered? if yes, is there a minimum amount of difference?. Thank you!

Are you thinking about a major renovation, with all the costs and complications, as a do it yourself project -- you would be wise to bring in a design professional.

It would be more visually pleasing if the vanities are lined up and won't seem like afterthought.
