Should I stay with the nickel or go with a bronze or antique brass

There are many choices: you can buy them in the store or through Kitchen Cabinets making companies in your area :)))

I vote bronze. You might have to stick with the same kind of pulls you currently have.

Manzoni are Italian and it really is in the feel. These are amazing and for a handmade product very reasonable. Check them out!

The nickel goes so well with your stainless appliances and faucet. I like the longer looking pulls too so to go with a handle that has the extended ends will give the longer look even though the holes are close together. Here is another option for you. http://www.giagni.com/product_details.php?Item_Quantity_=172

oh! also, you should know that 2 1/2" c/c is exactly 64mm which is also commonly used to describe the hole distance between that size, and definitely stay with Nickel or use Stainless Steel.

1. As others said, definitely brushed nickel
2. I replaced 2 knobs on a large drawer with a large pull, and the holes didn't quite match. I used 'wood putty' to cover the old hole and the result is amazing, I have to look hard to find the covered up hole.
